Mezes uses a Greek spiced yogurt to flavor the Gyros and Souvlakia. It’s not that we’re actively promoting healthy living (we do serve our fair share of cheeseburgers), but the Greek diet happens to feature foods recognized for their healthy attributes.

We, of the Greek Orthodox tradition, are used to celebrating Easter later in the Spring season. There are times when they cross paths, and those who are of two faiths lose out on an Easter dinner, but it’s rare and far between.
